Callaghan,

Your list is a list full of great actors, granted it is top loaded with "classic" actors. But come on...John Wayne, a great actor? John Wayne was fun and his movies were fun but I don't think I'd place him in the Top 100 "greatest" actors. Hell, that's as bad as me having Just One of the Guys in the Top 100 movies.

I am pleased with your high ranking of Harrison Ford, perhaps the greatest actor of our generation.

Yeah... John Wayne.... not my style... you got my man Gregory Peck up there though. He's my favorite "classic" actor.

peter sellers should have been higher in my opinion. perhaps trade his slot with harrison ford.

And i know this sounds lame now cause of the whole capote thing, but Phillip seymore Hoffman should be in the mix somewhere. I love him, dude can play the gay/weirdo in boogie knights, a preacher gone bad in coldmountain, a A-Hole man servant in Big Lebowski.... hes got range.

George C scott.... always under radar. Gotta love him.

Sean Connery...no Connery? At least Callaghan had the good sense to include him.

"I'll take the rapists for 200, Alex" SNL:cheesy:

That's therapists not the rapists... ever since that sketch i look at therapists in a different light...

Anyway... Callaghan you've got a great list there... personally i'd put Brando above Grant... I'm a big Cary Grant fan, but I gotta go with Brando number 2...

If you think my guys' list is classic film top heavy, you may not want to even look at my dolls' list.

When thinking of an all-time list I do not think in terms of "classic" vs "new" stars, I just let the chips fall where they may. Unfortunately many starlets of today are, by and large, not in any real danger of these chips falling anywhere near them.

Without further ado...
