Yeah the guy did some horrible things. The funny thing is that many of the Serbian people don't believe any of it happened. There's a good number that think it's all just made up. It's really a wake up call to me...

Unfortunately, I bet he died quietly.

But remember guys, someone else's suffering doesn't make things any better, it only breeds more hate. I'm certainly not defending the guy or any of his actions in the slightest BTW. Anyway, that is getting a little to political for this forum.

Let me just say this: Uncle Slobo was a bad guy who did very bad things. I don't intend to defend him at all.

That being said, part of my heritage is Serbian and we're not all ignorant, passionate thugs. EVERY side in the Balkans committed atrocities. The Serbs, Croats, Bosnians, Albanians....

These conflicts are not as simple or as recent as the media likes to dumb down for us. There have been wars/bad blood for over 700 years there. The place is cursed (and beautiful).

So yeah...Slobo bad...Serbian people not all bad.

I totally agree with you CineMischief.

Its just this guy was an ass and just wanted to start **** cuz he wanted more land and used the excuse to make "Greater Serbia".

I know alot of ppl who are Serbs who were tottally against him...and then the crazy ppl who were all for it.

But in a way..you are right...it is 'cursed'.
I finished reading a book recently about the history of the Balkans...a lott of stufff went down in that area...especially under the Ottoman empire timeframe.
