I still think these temporary "ban's" should really be called "time-out's". Banning should be reserved for those desperados that need permanent lock-out...such as "the one we don't speak of" who was banned quite some time ago now.

Mentioning "time out's" reminds me that when I was a kid the discipline wasn't "time out" it was "knock out" :grin: My dad was patriotic in his punishment, he applied the stripes and I saw stars! :crybaby:

But see what is the point.. Now that you are "Banned" you are going to be on the boards even more seeing what people are saying about you being banned. But it is all in good fun. But i do think we need to come up with a 12 step programe or something.. I spend Way to much time here. But if I didn't have this the times waiting for stuff to render or export at work would kill me

Well.... I can tell you one thing. DJ is taking this banning hard... here's an IM conversation I just had with him.

Maybe Jack was banned for too long. Maybe we can't get him back now. Kind of like "Flatliners". ...The sad irony being he just played a forensics guy in a movie.

Some people said that when you're banned you can still look around (lurk). I think when someone is banned they're not allowed to lurk around. Their IP address is banned so they can't see anything on DVXuser accept a message that says "You have been banned." or something like that. Could be wrong. Unfortunately the people who know the answer have all been banned. :)
