DVXuser 5600mah battery question

Just wanted to know how the battery advertised here stacks up to the stock 5400 ma battery that came with the HVX. Any estimate of run time?
Thanks for any info.

I use them -- haven't even taken the stock battery out of the wrapper yet. I've been working mostly off of AC, but I expect the 5600mah battery to slightly outlast the stock 5400mah battery.

I used them extensively on my DVX and two of them have almost always been enough to get me through a full shooting day with that camera.

I'm sure someone will chime in with more specific run times.

I can't tell really specific timing since I didnt shoot constant with it. But I've used mostly the 5600 battery. It lost for a while, maybe alittle longer than the 5400 but not by much.

I have shoot outdoor at -15degree celcius with the 5600 on P2, and the battery lasted 40 minutes of recording, and 3 hours of operation with the view finder only. I didn't do manual zoom control.

I was told that in the cold the battery doesn't offer long running time. But let just say, everyone with digital camera died long before my HVX200 did ;)

Also small note to some people. Always store battery fully charged... So even if you do not use your battery yet, still do it a full charge. It will last longer.

I guess they packaged the hvx200 with 5400 battery show it not a prosummer camera... But they could have included a 82mm len cap ;)
