Director Gordon Parks dies at 93

It's amazing to me that this will get so little press (I'm speculating, but doing so confidently). This guy was an amazing man. He did so much good, just by following what he held dear. But Nick and Jessica and Brangelina will still be all over the news stand.

It seems with so many famous peeps in the world, and so many of them getting older, it won't be long 'til it will seem like an everyday occurence (as if it didn't already seem that way).

damn you know you're getting old when people you knew are dying left and right. it becomes an old folks home and all you talk about is who died this morning. damn now there's a pioneer of independants.
