I set up my pair of Dedo DLH4s today on a UK (240v) home consumer ring, both with DT24-1 power supply dimmers.
All kit bought new from a top UK supplier in late 2013 and has been used several times by me in the UK.
Turned on the power to the first light (mains on, DT24-1 on) and with a loud 'bang' (made me jump!) its DT24-1 died,
tripping the consumer ring. No smoke but a strange 'burning electronics' smell.
Other DT24-1 fine on ring. Both DLH4s still working using this power supply.
Anyone else had this happen ?
Have I just been unlucky with the power supply ?
