FCPX "Share" option to burn DVD

Hi.
I need to present a client with a DVD. If I use the "Share" option > DVD, the native HD project turns into a terrible SD video with a different aspect ratio. Am I missing something here?
If I decide to burn a DVD directly from my Mac, what settings do you recommend?

How long is your project?
Maybe Final cut has to compress to much to fit it all on one DVD.

More compression ==> Less quality
