Project Overview: Charitable STEM program for intercity youth
"Day in the Life"

Locations: Detroit Dates:July 9-10

Location: Philadelphia Dates: July 18-19

  • Two 10 hour days in each location (Minimum two camera operates).
  • Capturing interview b-roll of students, faculty, and environment that reinforce the overall narrative and marketing campaign.
  • Filming a mixture of high quality b-roll and interview footage (see below Technical Guidelines).
  • Capturing b-roll of students, faculty, and environment that reinforce the overall narrative and marketing campaign.
  • Budget based on level of experience and equipment.



Video Technical Guidelines:

Camera: Sony PXW-FS7 / Sony PXW FS5 (with Atomos External Recorder)

Canon C300 Mark II / Canon C200

Record Format 4k DCI or UHD 24 fps / 1080p 120 fps ProRes / DNx

Picture Profile: C-Log or S-log

Lens: Zoom (70-200mm) / Prime Set (24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm)


Audio Technical Guidelines:

Shotgun Microphone: Sennheiser ME66 / Rode NTG3

Lavalier Microphone: Sanken

Preamp: Sound Devices

Record Format: .Wav 24 bit 96khz


Lighting Technical Guidelines:

3 Point System: Bi-Color High CRI LED (+93)

Large & Small Reflectors

Photography Technical Guidelines:

Camera: Sony Alpha 7R II / Canon EOS 5D Mark IV

Record Format: RAW

Picture Profile: Flat or Neutral

Lens: Zoom (70-200mm) / Prime Set (24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm)




Notes:

With the exception of Picture Profiles and Record Formats the above guidelines are not required specification but are the suggested equipment of use in this project.

We are flexible with the choice of equipment as long a its doesn't compromise quality or slow the speed of production.

At the end of each shooting day all captured files are to be copied to a provided Hard Drive.

We ask that you retain a copy of all files for a minimum of 60 days follow the end of shooting day.

All work is performed as a work for hire. A rights retained by end client.

All contractors are required to participate in both pre-production and post-production meets

Full briefing including shot lists and project overviews will be provided after confirmation of contract.
