Quick Short Filmed on the GH1

My fiancée and I were sitting around one night last week and decided to make a little short for fun. I used the GH1 because I did not want to take the time to get a monitor and rig setup for my 7D. I always say if you need to get something done quickly, use the GH1, its just easier. Any way here it is:

You will see some flicker in this video but it was not the GH1's fault. I was using my LED light and their batteries were running low. When this happens the PWM dimmer circuit in them starts to slow down and the flicker becomes apparent in the video. Unfortunately I did not notice this at the time until post.

This was all shot with the stock lens on either a steady cam, slider, and hand held.

Thank you for watching.

Could do with some sort of story? Ended up feeling a bit pointless.. like a cheap casino ad. And no - pointing a toy gun at the end does not constitute a story.

The drinking clip felt a bit weird I would say.

Would like to know how to do that bullet timeish thing when the camera slid round her at one point though! I think Vegas has some sort of feature that makes it easy - is it also simple to do in CS5 for example?

very impressive. can you say how you did that very smooth fly over shot in the opening shot? was it some sort of mini jib rig? please do tell. great work
