Both on at the same time?

Is there a way to have both the Monitor and LCD on at the same time? Not sure if this makes a differences or not but I'm using the Canon 5d mk3.

i believe you can choose 'mirroring' in menu.

Yes you can. Set the mirroring for hdmi output.
