Sanken COS11D

I thought I had ordered a Sanken COS-11-D and ended up getting a COS-11-DBP. Is the only difference that the DBP can operate on both battery and phantom power?

DBP version is for an XLR hard-wired application. Difficult to use on a wireless transmitter without cumbersome adapters. It costs less as well, since the battery/PP power supply is not needed. The Tx supplies power (bias current) not to be confused w/ Phantom Power.

I already have a couple of COS-11Ds that are for hard-wire use. As far as I can tell, the only difference between them and the new one with the -BP suffix is that the -BP has a compartment within the XLR connector for a AA battery and it can be used with or without phantom power. The non-BP COS-11Ds require phantom power.

I'm just trying to confirm that's the only difference between the two while it's out-of-the-box new and could be returned if not compatible with my system.
