Whitewater on the Animas River (Durango) with the FX6

Hi Doug,
That is some really nice footage. The slo-mo quality plus the sharpness is great. The enhanced chroma was right on the edge of being too much, but made it fun to watch. I have shot white water events in the past and focus used to always be a bear to deal with. Nice that auto focus makes it so much easier.

You hit the nail on the head about AF making it easier . Could I have shot this on manual focus? Sure. Been doing it for 40 years. But auto-focus makes this kind of action far easier to follow and ultimately more fun to shoot. I'm still the one who must tell the camera what to focus on and when to do it, but then it takes over from there. That is perfect.
