Sky Captain
Collateral
Miami Vice
28 Days Later

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

"SEX AND LUCIA"
If you wanna study how to overexpose deliberately under Mediterennian Sun this Spanish movie have lots to offer... Sexy too ;)

Some of the movies on those lists had sequences of film, which allows you to really distinguish the digital from the film. Some of the movies on my list were also shot partly with film.

Akeelah and the Bee
Cache
The Cave
Dear Wendy (one of my favorites, and the kid from billy elliot is in it!)
Domino
Grizzly Man

Full Frontal

Only a very small portion of Full Frontal was shot with the XL1s, the rest was film.

Add Open Water, Dancer in the Dark, Bamboozled, & Timecode to the list.

Cheers

The Celebration (AKA Festen)
Bubble
Atanarjuat (The Fast Runner)
Jackpot
Tape
Chelsea Walls
Lonesome Jim (shot on the DVX100)
A Scanner Darkly (shot with DVX100, then rotoscoped)
Zodiac (AKA "Chronicles," David Fincher's new, not-yet-released movie )

"Akeelah and the Bee" was shot on film. David Mullen, the DP of "Akeelah," posted an in-depth production diary of his work on the film in the cinematography.com forums that's well-worth reading for anyone interested in cinematography. In one of his production diary entries, he mentions the HD footage: "There was some brief talk about HD because the director shot some real footage of last year's National Bee in HD and wants to incorporate it. We still might, but as a montage of HD-only material rather than intercut it with 35mm."

Most of Domino was shot on film; they used the Viper only minimally. There's a good article about the cinematography at http://www.cameraguild.com/ (click on magazine, go to 2005 archives, and then to the October issue)

I knew Scary Movie 4 was digital. It looked weird... not like film. Though I couldnt expect anything more from David Zucker;
"...oh no Russel Crowe got a phone..."

Domino looked like digital the entire thing- Im surprised that was mostly film.

The Fourth Beast: Mask of The Antichrist. That was shot on the DVX. :)

Also:

First, Last & Deposit (shot on a consumer video camera and winner of tons of awards)

November

28 Days Laters (remember)

The Five Obstructions (also known as De Fem benspænd)

Daaaamn, volcano you just made me reminice about Najwa Nimri (the supporting actress)... now thats one beautiful, sexy and unique woman.

I wonder if "City of God" was shot digitally, it had that look, either way it was a gorgeus film.

Interesting,.. I'll take the unique and sexy description, but beautiful? She reminds me Monica Vitti, an Italian actress starred in Antonioni films... Anyway i just found her cheasy website:

Check out the music video 'hey boys' under the video section..Very creative green screen work...
Nope, City of God wasnt shot digitally...

Supersize Me - on the DVX I'm pretty sure - he said it was a 3 chip camera and is 24p and looks like the DVX vs. the XL2 series.

Most documentaries as of late are done digitally.
