TC and DC official DVXuser NAB correspondants

TC and DC are our eyes at the show this year.. they are armed with laptop and camera and will be floating around the show Monday taking photos of everything he can.

I will give them both the DVXuser NAB tshirts.. they will be the only ones there with them until they are given out at the NAB party monday night.

They look like this: ( but hopefully not as tight lol )

T-Shirt! Groovey. :)

My friend, Mike (NAB-buddy 2006), will be bringing his laptop because I just realized mine does NOT have WiFi. Although, it is likely I will connect with TC to transfer video clips to his laptop. That way we can have a centralized way to upload image/clip reports from the show. TC can convert my AVI MPEG-4 files to something smaller, if need be.

To avoid overloading DVXUser.com, does anyone have any server space that can host these NAB video clips for a little while?

Yeah, will be available if you can't get one.

I'll be wearing the DVX/ Abel Cine shirt and I'll have thartley's shirt with me. So anyone who sees me, definitely flag me down and sign the shirt.

I'll also be taking pics with/ of other DVXers for posterity, shits and giggles, etc.
 
Well unfortunantly I won't get to Vegas till' the party on Monday night. But I'll be there! I'll bring my cam too, and get some shots on Tuesday... Can't wait! It's gunna be a blast!

I need one of those t's. I won't make NAB...I'll be there on the 3rd, but almost two weeks too late. :(

I will need a t-shirt in a more realistic size. Maybe with an expanding seam around the midsection. :)....I'm really not kidding.

I have around 3GB of space and am allotted 200GB of data transfer (bandwidth) per month.

Anyway, just let me know and I will set up an FTP account for you.

All I ask for in return is a mere T-shirt (XL) :)

Got a "crappy" 450mb available if it would help in any way.... But with a mere 5gb of traffic per month. But if you want, give me a mail and youll get access.

I´d sacrifice ann arm to be in your place... : (
 
Hey guys,

Just a quick update from the show floor . . .

Having loads of fun, getting some great pictures and video. Due to some technical difficulties and slightly unforseen mishaps, it won't be until at least tonight that we can start uploading the goods. Our apologies!

On a side note, I was trying to get some stuff at the Apple boothe but there was no enclosed presentation which made taking video a little pointless. I did get some stills though.

I also made a strong attempt to get a short interview with an Apple rep demonstrating the latest Final Cut Pro with HVX/P2 - I was denied! So, check Apple's website and related websites for the scoop! :)

Anyway, all is well and we'll catch you up next time!
 
Could one of you guys be so kind to check for vegas annoucements. Specifically if they're going to suport the hvx or not.

I will certainly try tomorrow. I'll do the best I can for all you guys. Not checking this board too often (I'm accessing this from my SidekickII cell phone) while I'm in Vegas.

Thanks, also, for your offers of web hosting. If we can't sort it out throught DVXUser then maybe we'll go that route. :)

Well, I'm finishing up some delicious Indian food over at Ghandi's and will soon head to the DVXUser party. Hope to see as many of you as I can!
