Can someone explain clearly what is include in the 12000$ package.
The real spec (it change all the time!) fps for 1080p for 720P?
DIfference between the 20 000$ 12000$ package.

Is there some lens with the 12000$?

have someone have a clear pic of the mini and the complete?

I'm sure there are some answer lost in some post but it would be good for everybody to sum up all the informations.
 
from what i recall

the mini ( approx $12k) is just the CMOS unit with a PL mount on it ( very small) - no recording device ..
it includes software that you install on your laptop which will then allow you to captrure images from the mini head ... i recall something about 2 lens included but not sure ...

the under 20K unit includes a body (recording device on board )...also you can separtate the cmos block from body which would be the size of the mini and run cable between head and body ( recording device)

if you go to the spoon blog they just used the camera head so you see a very small unit with a lens, matte box ...

there might be some links on SI site that show you teh camera body BUT that is NOT the final design .. they are showing the new design at the LA HD expo in early nov ...

i think they said 1080p at 24 & 30p ...
720p up to 72fps
 
If they gonna stay inside the 100mbit barrier you can at 8bits with 5:1 compression get 30,1408fps.

100M/8*5/1920/1080=30,1408

At 10bits you will get 24fps

100M/10*5/1920/1080=24,11265
 
We alwas transmit 12bits (1.5 bytes) from the camera head up to a maximum of 100MB/sec over the GigE interface. On the recording side we are only restricted by the speed of the HDD....

1280x720 x 72FPS x 1.5 = .... MB/sec
