Z8: Nikon Z8 Walkabout Video

Cañon City is a place where the only two cars on Main Street could nearly collide with each other, on film. No mass transit here. We do have a train, the Royal Gorge Train.

I can't help but wonder how much better this video would look if it was filmed on a Nikon Z6III. I've heard it's a "game changer"

Sorry, I don't watch footage from old cameras

Actually the real problem is that it's 2D. I only watch footage in 3 or higher dimensions

Have you considered getting an ursa cine immersive? My vision pro is so comfortable that I haven't taken it off since I got it. I sleep in this thing. I took it off briefly but "reality" is just so bland and low-resolution by comparison that I had to go back in

I don't think you can do justice to this quiet Colorado town unless you immerse me in it

Just kidding, colors look nice. And the high contrast nature scenes look great

Thanks Abe. If the precogs had Vision Pro in Minority Report, pre-crime could have remained infallible.

The Z8 image is hard to mess up with the ridiculous automation features. Every scene was the same, N-Raw, N-Log, f/4.0, 1/125, Auto-Iso, 5600K, 6-stop ND, Sport Mode IBIS, AF, 24-120 kit lens, point and shoot skill level. In Resolve, use the Nikon Z9 V2 cube lut to go from N-Log/2020 -> 709/2.4 gamma (BT1886).
