Time to get a more powerful workstation for 3d work.
However the thought occurred that I might also transfer Adobe CS6 from one of my old machines to the new one and also use it for editing.
Will it even work at all?
The old machines are i7 ~3Ghz GPU 8GB Quadro WIN7Pro 64GB RAM
Possible new machine: i9 3.6Gz GPU 11GB RTX2080ti WIN10Pro 32GB RAM (upgrade to 64 soon as possible)
I expect CS6 cannot take advantage of the GPU power since it's much too new, but will it still work as good or maybe better than on the old machine?
