Hey all, I just uploaded my entry into the Southwest Airlines "Wanna Get Away?" user-generated commercial contest: "Fender Bender"

If you like it, please vote by giving it a rating on YouTube. The contest and the voting end on Tuesday the 20th, and the way video with the most high ratings wins—so I'm at a bit of a disadvantage against the videos that have been up there accumulating votes for weeks or months. Which is totally fair of course, but I'll do my best to catch up with your help.

The spot was shot on a DVX100a with a Go-35 Pro and a Century Optics wide-angle adapter (not at the same time:)). Total budget was $50 per diem for my actor, as I was able to get on and off the USS Hornet in Alameda so fast that they didn't feel the need to charge me any location fees! The crew there were super helpful. I plan on blogging more about the making of if there's interest—I'll update this thread as well if I do.

It takes a little imagination to view the spot because the idea is that you create a 20-second clip that fits the format of SW's "Wanna Get Away?" campaign, but the voice-over and tag at the end is a big part of what makes the concept funny. But contest rules dictate that you not include the VO in your posted video! If you're not familiar with the campaign, there's an example here.

Thanks in advance for your support guys,

-Stu
