I shot a fight scene for my short film and one punch was hard to get right. The actress is out of focus in all of them, but there is one where is she is good. But the other guy doesn't hurt her near as convincingly in this one. So I was thinking that that I could photoshop him and his good punch out of the his good take, and line him and the punch up with the actress, in her good take. But I am having trouble doing this. I can either use Adobe Photoshop or After Effects for this. Any advice? Thanks.

Try AE with animated masks. Going frame by frame in Photoshop is a grueling thing to do - and it will look choppy as hell. Motion blur is your friend.
