GH4 GH4 vs G7 / noise problem with GH4

I've been thinking of getting a second-hand GH4 but some camera reviewers online say it has noisy ISOs above ISO 800.

Have any GH4 users here found this a problem when using the GH4? Does the noise problem of the GH4 put this older camera at a disadvantage in 2019?

And is the 4K crop on the GH4 as bad as the Canon M50 crop?

I was thinking of getting the Lumix G7 as an alternative to the GH4 because it has much cleaner ISO and better lowlight ability. 4K crop is only 2.1x on the G7. My camera budget is $500-800 FYI.

In my extensive experience with the GH4, I’ve found it very usable up to iso 2000 with the Cine D profile and NR at -5. With other, more contrasy picture profiles the noise above 1250 iso becomes noticeable.
