This might be an easy question: :-/
When I go somewhere with my dvx100a and want to shoot some footage I never know what setting the camera should be on.
For example:
I am out camping on a nice blue day and I want to film all the activities going on around me. I take out my dvx, turn it on, and try to switch all the side buttons. Like the gain, iris, and white balance. I never seem to get the look I want.
I understand that I might not know enough about the camera but I don’t think it should be that hard.
When I normally try to get a good look I just hit the AUTO button. This seems to work out ok but sometimes, “like at night” it does not work so well. I get a little red in the footage and I sometimes get blue when I look at lights.
Another question I have is when I shoot with the dvx I seem to always have to change the ND filter switch. So when I watch the footage I can tell when I switched it. This is a bothersome when trying to show family. is it best not to use the ND filters when the camera tells you to?
Sorry if this does not make since but maybe someone can help me out.
Thanks ;D
