Fujinon XA17x7.6BRM-M58B focus

We just recently encountered a focus problem with our HPX500. The camera comes a Fujinon XA17x7.6BRM-M58B lens. The problem is it's off by about half a foot. I measured the distance at 4 foot and the lens wants to focus at a little under 3.5 feet. The back focus and everything else seems fine at this focus point. It becomes a big problem when I change the focus.

The one thing I found interesting is there is no CAC property in the camera for the lens that we have. There is only a CAC property for a Fujinon XA17x7.6BERM-M58B, which has a 2x extender on it. Could this be the problem? I'm still searching for the correct property to download for the camera.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

I have that lens with no focus problem... I use the Fujinon CAC preset, but I've had the camera for over 6 months and don't remember the specifics of the setting, but it does seem there was only one... That said, CAC shouldn't have any effect on overall focus, so I'm relatively sure that isn't your problem...

Does you lens seem to focus accurately to infinety? I don't mean the infinety stop, it will focus past infinety to the stop... but can you get a sharp infinety focus?

The infinity focus works fine. It goes out of focus when I turn the setting all the way to where it stops though, but if I turn the setting back to infinity symbol the focus comes back on. The back focus seems fine on the focus chart, but when I actually shoot something the back focus seems to be a problem. I'm just not sure what's going on. I'll be doing more back focus test on a couple of other charts and see if that makes any difference.
