I am using a Panasonic Lumix G II Lens, 20mm, F1.7 ASPH with a GH4. I have the camera mounted on some rails along with a monitor etc. I am trying to mount a follow focus system but due to the lens being so small the follow focus can't reach the focus ring. Is there a way to attach an outside extender to bring out that focus ring more? Something like a lens hood or something that attaches and allows for focus to be adjusted? Thanks.

There are numerous manufacturers of these various rings, but I'm not a fan of attaching a follow focus to any LUMIX lens due to the non-linear response of the len's focus rings, which makes repeatable focus pulls impossible.
Back when I consulted Panasonic on what features the GH5 should incorporate the option to select a linear focus response was near the top of my Laundry List of requests.
