DVX-100B Rare Playback Issue - Advice Sought

I say rare because in the eight years I've owned my three DVX cams, I've never had a problem with playback. My least used and newest of the three cameras has suddenly stopped playing back properly in VCR mode. There are thick blue horizontal lines scattered throughout the image. I ran a tape head cleaner through the cam to no success. I popped the tapes into one of the other DVX cameras and they played fine. Has anyone encountered this, and if so, what is your advice on the matter?

Looks like dirty heads (especially since it plays fine in other cameras). Age doesn't always matter...what gets clogged in the heads does! I'm not a fan of cleaning tapes, but you might try using it once more in playback mode for this problem. Or send the cam in for a professional cleaning.

Definitely head clog. Get it cleaned avoid abrasive head cleaner tapes.

I used to get those same blue bars when I sometimes recorded over tapes.
