Hi guys, I'm new around here after scoring MrSeth's Churhi for BetrayalFest. Hopefully he'll have me back if he jumps into this fest! But I wouldn't mind meeting some other folks on here, too. I've done one modernized spaghetti western spoof and would love to do a serious western. My track starts at around the 0:40 mark in this bit of youtube silliness.

Hey good luck with your search.
Funny about that youtube video. I met Bubba on the set of Master Chef back in March, we both played truck drivers. Really nice guy!

Actually, I haven't met him! We narrowly missed crossing paths in LA once. We collaborated with the magic of the internets. I trust I'll catch up with him sometime soon, though.

I would definitely recommend Randin.... he's very quick and responsive, EXTREMELY talented, and has years and years of experience and knowledge behind him. Definitely a great asset!

I don't really know if I want to do westfest - its all about the writing and i haven't really found a script that's motivated me to produce yet. If I do... I'd definitely get Randin to score.

Thanks, boss! I have gotten a couple responses now so am pretty happy. Two serious films that are shooting late June so will be in post the last few weeks before the deadline. I shouldn't do another serious one and won't take another that might require work in the last two weeks, but if anybody's got a comedy that will be ready sooner than that, I'd still be up for something different. :)

Hey, thanks so much, Blaine. It's mostly fairly subtle stuff, so it's really nice to have it recognized.

I looked at it as a good exercise, to do three short western dramas within a couple weeks and give each its own musical identity. I think & hope I did that. If I did, no one would notice right away that the music was by the same guy, so maybe your post means I didn't succeed. :)

If anyone's curious, I scored Eidolon, Kinship & Lessons in Life and Death.

Thanks, MAH. Your film is of course gorgeous!

RCG (doesn't really roll off the tongue like MAH)
