I just got my new DVX 100 but when I move the camera around it makes this clicking sound?
Just kidding
For those that know, you know.

Norbro, uh I don't think that answers his question? I think he's talking about some loose screw in his camera.
I think it was like the shutter or some gyroscopic thingy. I remember 95% of the people buying the camera posting about this.Zachadoodle, I think the "just kidding" and "for those that know, you know" would indicate otherwise.
I remember the sound well (wasn't it more of a little clunk?) but I can't remember what actually caused it.
Oh man. Brings me back to my old dvx100a days. Seems like 50 years ago but I think I bought it in 2005. What was the difference between the A and B anyway?
Oh right. I remember having to buy a bulky and expensive anamorphic adapter to shoot 16:9If I recall correctly, the B added the ability to de-squeeze anamorphic mode and display a letterboxed 16:9 in the EFV and the flip-out LCD.
Improvements to resolution and overscan as well, and sharing of scene settings between cameras over FireWire. I think the B is also when they added a switchable PB/EE mode on the headphone output. There were other additions that escape me at the moment.

I don’t recall there being an in-camera squeeze mode on the A. I think it was just done optically with the adapter. Could be wrong though
