I have been using the Blackmagic HD link with FCP 5.1.1 connected via DVI-D to Dell 2405FPW ( 24") since Xmas. It looks good ...not great. It's good enough to get an idea how great the HVX200 picture can be. I have a Sony HR Trinitron but have not even considered hooking it up. The HVX200 picture deserves better. By the way I used the Dell on location as reference monitor while shooting a pretty high end Caddy and Saab commercials. The Dell was a whole lot better than field monitor coming out composite.
