Any of the shorts from the very first Zombiefest online?

I had the DVD way way back in the day and loved most of the films.. would be great to walk down memory lane and view some of them. Question 2.. does anyone still have their dvd from the first Zombiefest? There was one short I remember having a bluish color to it and took place in a parking garage.. loved that one.
 
Over 11,000 people in 2 years viewed this with no response. bummer! Really loved those first zombiefest shorts, even bought the DVD (have no idea where it went over the years). Nobody has theirs online anywhere? its getting around halloween season, would love to see them as a little throwback! :)
 
Hey Mike. I think my brother Ian may have the original DVD???. It's been ages to be honest so I'm not sure. I'll send him a note. (His entry is still on YT. I helped out on that one too... doing what I forget now at the moment, I hadn't tried CG yet then. ) There would be some copyright issues concerning sharing the DVD without question so that would be a no-no there. Let me see if he even has the DVD still handy-ish and I'll shout back for recapping maybe. It may be a few weeks. :)

Until then, my brothers entry anyways. Having fun with the kids and his new dvx. 2005 I guess it was. -Cheers. :)

Hey Gord.It's been a very long time since I have been on DVXuser. The DVD I still have as well as the DVXuser DVd they put out.

Thanks for the shares! Great walk down memory lane! Almost makes me want to buy a DVX again just for fun. They are so damn cheap now.
 
Holy smokes it's been a while. I don't think Texas Fortune is online anywhere, I'd have to search through some old hard drives.
 
Please do. If memory serves it went on the "indie circuit" and had to be pulled for legal reasons concerning that end. We would love to see it again. :)

I feel a need to clarify that. As with most any fest anywhere, it is usually a requirement that the entry not be currently running in another fest. I chose poor words in my original post above.
It was not "pulled" nor for "legal" reasons. It was simply removed by the entrant after the dvxfest was over so that it could then run in other fests also. I apologize for any confusion.

I made alot of life-long friends here over those years.
It must still be for sale if a mod can post a link to buy the DVD. That'd be cool. :) Good times.

But then, yes I understand, the resolution of vids back then was 720p.(actually was it 480p I think? haha Oh my.) Nowadays it is more CPU intensive. ;)

I''ll have a copy of the DVD within a few weeks but I'll need permission from the entry submitters before I can share any of them, if they're interested. I'll let you know when I know more. :)
