I downloaded my own file to check how it looked and was disappointed to see it appearing to be stretched. I'm hoping to re-upload the file in the future so it can be viewed as 'normal'. I was fairly pleased with the final film given the time and resource constraints that I had. Once again it...

I've looked everywhere but I can't find a way of batch exporting Tiff files from Vegas. Is it possible to do this? thanks in advance, Ben

I have the chance to buy a steadicam Jr. Lite at a very reasonable price. I searched the forum and opinion seems to be divided as to whether the Steadicam can handle the weight of a DVX. If there is anyone out there using the Steadicam Jr. Lite with a DVX I would like to know how well does it...

After using Magic Bullet on a clip and forgetting to also apply it to a similar clip I noticed that the MB clip seemed to produce a lot of noise in the picture. Anyone else had this problem? Ben

Does anyone know how I can copyright the title of a future film/book project? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for watching. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. It's been a huge learning experience for me, not only to make the film but also to see it along side all the others. It's the first film I ever made. Our budget was the remains of a tomato ketchup bottle and a $2 plastic toy...

I'm having loads of problems capturing decent footage to my computer. The captured footage looks fine on the screen of my capture deck (Sony handicam) but when I capture through Vegas it appears to be much darker and lacking in contrast. Another thing, when I hit 'capture' the footage in the...

I have been using Vegas 4 without any problems. Now I have upgraded to Vegas 5. It seems that everytime I add an effect to a clip it creates some sort of envelope that changes the effect over the duration of the clip. Is there any way to disable this feature so I can just click on a clip's fx...

When I render using MainConcept mpeg I get a green, 1 pixel, semi-transparent vertical line down the left hand side of my footage. When I render a Quicktime file the line is not there. Any ideas or suggestions why this is happening?

I have a 3-4 minute music video that I am hoping to burn onto DVD. I would like the finished DVD to be the best quality possible. I have about 8-10 meg of hard disk space to render to and I also have Sorenson squeeze if I need to compress the file. I could do this all by trial and error but the...

I am trying to use my PAL clips with some jpegs. The problem is when I create a jpeg (720 X 576) and use it in Vegas I get a border on the left and right hand side. I could make a bigger jpeg to fit the screen but I am wondering if I captured the clips incorrectly and therefore my footage is out...

Wondering if anyone out there has used the Glidecam 2000? I have read a few comments on this board and others. Some slag it to hell while others say it works well. I will be using it for short shots only so I am not planning to buy any other accessories. What do you think?

Can anyone tell me if Vegas 4 handles 24p/25p or will I need Vegas 5? thanks...

I'm on the verge of purchasing a PAL DVX100A but I am a bit confused about the model no's. I have seen both DVX100AE and DVX102A advertised. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? thanks for your help....
