We still have the LED 600 softboxes in stock so that's no problem. Here's a couple of pictures from the new 1024 Ring which can be used either as ring light or on a stand.
This picture shows the back when using it in a stand mounted configuration. With our quick-release detachable...
You may be on to something with the shield, hadn't thought of that one, LOL.
Really like the quality of light we're getting now out of the new LEDs. I took one of the new models with me to the USA in September to a well known institution in Hollywood. We tested it there, this stands up...
We used these with our LED 256 and sell them separately for $13.99. 1/4-20 mount on a ball joint adapter and baby female adapter on the other end. Gives flexibility in angle adjustment whereas many of these solutions don't.

I think if you go back you will see I was professional and patient up to the last time. Each time he couldn't answer any of my questions but came back with more slanderous or inflammatory comments. At some point you just have to see that someone is wasting your time. I asked for pretty much...
I'm very happy to announce that the LED 1200 is finally ready for ordering from China and next month from USA (if shipment to USA goes as planned). Relevant information and pricing can be found on these product pages.
Available in Daylight Flood...
DVXuser Puredrifting sent me this link. Seems Litepanels is introducing two or three models of LED fresnel at NAB this year. They say they've licked the single vs. multiple shadow issue:

It’s finally back and this time we have a tungsten flood...
Hi Everyone
We've been getting a lot of requests lately for a small panel that can fit on a camera or elsewhere. The timeframe would be later than our 600 LED panel as we have to finish that first. But, here are some key questions we would ask when starting to plan that project:
1). size and...
I doubt the difference between latex and acrylic is the issue. Its just different compositions accomplishing the same thing and both are water based. Do you have any green screen material you can just put up over the wall to try an experiment and see if you have the same issue afterwards? If...
Perhaps could be the problem. There are indeed different levels of paint. You've got (at least) flat, satin and glossy and there may be others. If it was the satin which is sort of between flat and glossy, I think you could have some issues. Its hard to imagine what else may be getting you...
You didn't tell us much about how many fixtures you're using and that could be the key if you're using just one. You can't use just one light normally to light the screen especially if the needed area will be large. Secondly, you might try fluorescent shop lights or kitchen ceiling 4 foot...
I've gotten several requests for a status update on various projects and existing products so here goes. The projects fall into the 3 categories of LED, fluorescent and metal halide.
Lets start with LEDs.
As you may have seen on this thread...
I recently saw this posted on another board and though some of you bleeding edgers like me would enjoy it:

140 lumens per watt. That's where it really starts to get interesting. I bet the price is insanely expensive though and of course these...
Yes, that's the same guy selling on ebay that I gave the link for earlier. Perhaps a bit cheaper on ebay than on his own site by about $20 for the same screen...
This seems pretty inexpensive:

And the guy has 1664 feedback 100% positive on ebay which is pretty darn good so I doubt its too bad of...
