[FS: General] Canon HV20 & Letus 35 Mini

I've recently upgraded quite a few things so I'm selling off a bunch of gear. Letus 35 Mini - 35mm adapter $375.00 obo The Letus 35 Mini is designed and optimized for smaller cameras, such as the Canon HV20 and Sony HC series. The technology, quality and price of the new Letus35 Mini cannot be...

    OTHER: Best SCREENWRITING SOFTWARE?

I always liked Sophocles, but it appears their website is dead, and maybe the software is too. I'm still a fan of Final Draft, and it's my primary tool when and if I do any writing. Pretty sure it's got all the features you're looking for.

    greenscreen and hdv

Yup.. and generally a certain amount of roto is required -- whether that's just a garbage mask to minimize the area that needs to be keyed, or actually rotoing every frame to use footage that can't otherwise is next to impossible to pull a key from. ;)

    greenscreen and hdv

Technically speaking, there is no such thing as an "easy key", so you can always expect a certain amount of work additional to just applying the chroma key plugin/tool.. but that said, I was able to pull pretty good keys without additional work from HDV footage in its full resolution...

    greenscreen and hdv

I don't buy it.. just setting the color space to 4:4:4 isn't going to necessarily make use of that full range. I'm sure there is somewhere between the information of a 4:2:2 and a 4:4:4 space, but I would be very surprised if there was truly enough there to actually use the full 4:4:4 space.

    greenscreen and hdv

I don't think you can take it that far.. but HDV at 4:2:0 has more than twice the color information as SD at 4:1:1.. The Canopus HQ codec apparently will give you a 4:2:2 color space SD image, but I'd be surprised if you could get a legitimate 4:4:4 image from it. But for the record, a good...

    Breakaway shed door

I have to make a wooden shed door that will break away easily so an actor can be thrown through it. The camera will be on the inside of the shed with the actor bursting through heading directly toward camera. The director was thinking either a precut sheet of plywood held together with...

    $30 DIY Flag

I apologize in advance, this is not quite as detailed as my c-stand how-to... Bill of materials: Hardware/home improvement shopping list (3) 1/2" Barb Elbow (these came in packs of two. They're brass connectors that would fit inside flexible rubber pipe. (1) 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/2" Barb Tee (1)...

    DIY Portable C-Stand!

This project is a pretty easy build, and should only take you about 20 minutes to a half hour. All the parts are available at any home improvement store, and will cost in the neighborhood of $30. I started with the basic idea as laid out here (Giving credit where due), but wanted to make a...
