I recorded a video today in MP4 (20 Mbps) and it stopped recording at the 30 minute mark. I can't find anything in the manual that indicates a recording limit. Is this specific only to the MP4 mode?

I get this error when I try to add a dissolve transition to an edit point. The clips are 4 seconds in length each and I've left the length of the transition at one second. So what gives? I can apply this transition easily to lesson files that accompany "Final Cut Express HD", but not my own.
