Today is bright and sunny. I tried CPL filter for photo. It brought more color saturation on blue sky and green leaves. It did block some reflection light and closed the gap between high key and low key. Consequently gave more details in dark areas. It did block some light (1.3 stop???)...

Mine got really bad in-lens dust... or that's what it seemed until I disassembled it. It wasn't dust. It might have been a water drop leaked into the lens after a lot of inner lens dirt. The lens has front element sucking the dirt. Light reflection on the rear element made it look like...

Click on Codec Settings button to choose specific DNxHD. Kinda hard to see it. QuickTime Format. Video tab -> Video Codec: Avid DNxHD Codec. Click Codec Settings button.

I really want this feature. Usually I know Aperture and SS setting. e.g. 2.0 and 50. Then ISO becomes the only variable. Can the creative manual mode have auto ISO? When it began recording, ISO will be automatically selected and LOCKED. Or AEL button to lock the exposure.

I gotta do more testing, but I didn't see the horizontal band from my recently acquired GH2 with WE1C serial. "1C" implies March 2011. 24p, 3200 ISO, 160 SS, -1.5EV looked clean. Can those with the same serial batch confirm it? If the issue is gone, I guess those older batch units could be...
