Some superficial wear and tear, like the protection cap on reciever antenna is missing and some scratches, but everything works fine.

When transcoding GH5 footage ( mov or mp4 ) to any of the Prores with AME I've noticed degradation of color. Have a look at the pics,
First pic straight from camera, second is transcoded to prores.
The only transcode that seem to work is to Cineform RGBA 12-bit. But I'm on a mac so I would...

I am thinking about building a doorway dolly to mount my tripod on, and I would like to be able to use it on somewhat rough surface like asphalt.
Does anyone have an idea what type of wheels I should use to minimize bumps in the ground? Should I go with big or small wheels? Air or rubber? Is...
Just finished up a mod on a cheap softbox umbrella with standard e27 base to accept a gy9,5 bulb. It actually works like a charm and this fixture takes no time to setup on set. If anyone wants to know more about this project I'll be happy to elaborate.
The title says it all!
I've reached the limit of my lighting case so I'd like to see how you guys do it. Do you have one main bag for everything or do you split your equipment up to dedicated cases and bags? Trolleys, hardcase or softcase? Why or why not? Dedicated truck or cart?
Has anyone of you ever got wierd flickering lines in the cameras lcd?
It has now happened to my camera twice and worst part is that they seem to disappear after a while. The second time it happened the lcd was pretty much unusable. They are flickering when I move the camera around and the...
Got my af100 this week and I just love it! Wondering if any of you know how to use the index recording function in editing, is it for example possible to get the index marks as markers in premiere?
Some of these newer NAS are able to perform 100mb/s read and write, so I'm thinking it might be possible to edit video with one workstation over 1ge ethernet? Has anyone tried this?
I come from Cubase where you could scroll the timeline by simply click and drag middlemouse button.
I hate Premieres scrollwheel solution, it's way to slow, so I came up with a solution to implement a click-and-drag feature in Premiere.
Download Autohotkey ( google it ) and load this script...
I thought I'd share with you guys a somewhat more advanced remote control /follow focus based on a PIC microcontroller and a digital potentionmeter.
You just hook it up to a panasonic camera and push the buttons on your focusmarks, then the PIC will rescale itself so you got your focusmark on...
I think I've run into a possible bug in CS5.

I'm editing Canon 7D material with my first clip in the timeline being dynamic linked to AE. On the videotrack above I got a simple title. Everythings is prerendered ( greenbar above timeline).

I'm about to switch from my HVX200 to a HMC151 but before I take the plunge I would like some advice. Will I regret this downgrade?
I shoot lots of presentations and events, so the SD cards with long record time is a bless and is the main reason I want to switch.
However, I also do shorts...
Forgive me if this thread is in the wrong forum.
I just wonder if there is any way to move the middle divider that seperates the monitor and metadata information?
The reason I'm asking is because I have netbook where I want to log all my footage, but since my screen is just 1024x600, all...
Hi all!

This summer I finished a TV and Media education and now I'm in the works of starting my own production...
