Will buy them - also se what OST said about Tie Clips:
Hi Larry,
I have checked with the factory.
The tie clip for 801/802 can be turned. Check it. It may be a little tight.
Sorry for the confusion.
Dave.
I tired it and it worked - sometimes I can get away with clip on the speaker in an...
I am getting random audio drop outs on the system. Wondering if anyone knows a good repair shop? It also appears the receiver no longer scans for available frequencies. I checked with Sony for a repair, while they can repair the unit they want 155 for diagnostic which if that is all would...
I have been using the AUDIX SCX1 HC and not had any RF experience yet - so the Neutrik EMC connectorts are a good tip to look into. The only drawback to the SCX it is very sensitive to low
frequency - like hard boom pole movements - etc. On the bright side I am very happy with its ability...
I use SONY and PRGRADE 128 full size cards never an issue- would have more SONY"S if I could get them easily - always out of stock. I will not skimp on V90 Cards. Will try a SAN DISK at some point
Lately I have some projects where the budget will not allow to hire a sound man. I am not a sound expert but I manage, nor do I know microphone capabilities that well. In listening to some of my projects where I had a sound man; I am disappointed with the quality of the sound. with my...
I am looking at the Aputure LS 120D II to use through a -Intellytech FF-5 x 3.2'HC Fast Frame Scrim Diffuser with Honeycomb Grid.
I need something with a bit more punch that LED panels. I don't always have the budget for grip truck so I am looking to put a kit together for small productions...
For sure - The mix of AF/MF works really well. That is why I am moving to Sony lenses. On occasion I have rented Zeiss CP lenses or other manual lenses when I use an AC, but I am pretty impressed with the AF - of course there will always be certain projects where focus pulling might be...
I have been using METABONES adapters on several Sony E mount cameras with Canon lenses for years and recently with FX6 - Iris control is fine but no AF. Recently I sold several of my canons - I am going strictly with Sony E mount. I still have a SIGMA 50 - 150 2.8 which is a sweet lens but...
I am talking about the handle - just looked in manual and it says tighten by using HEX #4. I know the grip feels funny and not solid it has a but of play have not tried to tighten anything there yet because while there is play it is still feels secure, but who knows I will look into that.
I think I remember reading in the manual which says it needs a hex tool or allen wrenche to tighten. Went to home depot got the wrenches and it does tighten it. I did not make it to tight and keep the wrenches in the bag in case it gets loose.
Been Using it for over a year and half on A7III and now on the FX 6 - great lens. I do miss the 24 mm wide aspect - but you can't beat it for the price. I am toying with the idea of buying the Tamron 70 -180
I also have the 24 -105 Sony G.
t is a well made support bracket. With Fx 9 loupe it is solid and stays at any position one would want. I can remove it easily if I just want to use the LCD with the native Sony bracket. For me it ticks all the boxes. If I want to leave the vocas bracket on I will need a wider camera bag. I want...
I just received the Vocas FX 6 LCD support with FX 9 loupe. Will set it up shortly and post a Picture. As far as Zacuto EVF down the road I might decide to get the one - I am going to NAB to see it first hand or possibly BH in NYC - then I will make up mind. For now I like the vocas with the...
I just ordered the VOCAS FX6 support kit for the LCD and a FX9 loupe. I was going to go for the ZACUTO but was concerned with the burn in factor, the weight and the bulkiness. But without seeing it I could be wrong. I have the alphatron and I burnt it twice. I could use the alphatron but...
I finally got mine had to wait about six weeks - had to also bug my sales guy as well to get it in that time frame- so yes 8 - 12 could be very realistic -
Well I ordered an FX6 with 24 - 105 early March from BH. First is was to be at the end March - then end of April - still no camera - maybe June - who knows. I needed it for a shoot in May. You should order it now. -
I tried other dealers and no one has it in stock. Maybe their is a...
If I recall when I shot film, they had some device on viewfinder where once you took the pressure off eye piece it would shut so no stray light could get in and expose/streak the film. I don't remember which cameras - ARRI or PANAVISION - I can't be sure. I do remember the eye piece but...
Well I can tell you with Alphatron Viewfinder - I burnt the LCD screen three times. It was my fault - did not shut the eye piece with the cover. I now have replacements screens should it happen again - but will be selling FS700 with alphatron soon. With FX6 I do not want all that bulk - hope...
