I tried to apply less curve to the cinestyle footage and it seems to have a better quality than using the LUT curve by Technicolor. That curve makes cinestyle look as Standard See the test here:

Yes, unbelievable, but FCP has a bad video quality. The lack of plugin dithering, 16 or 32 bit per channel means a really hugly quality. In this file you can see 2 clips with gaussian blur. One is from FCP, the other from Motion (which features dithering and 16 + 32bit per channel processing)...
