DVXuser Script Fest VII
Just wondering if anyone is up for making a Stephen King dollar baby short film with me?
I'm a writer with too little experience (as yet) with producing and directing. But wondering if a director/producer on Dvxuser might be interested in making the adapted script?

Would you regard a story with elements of ghosts, walking dead and dark magic to be a work of science fiction?
Just confused of late with films review of vampire movies and zombie movies appearing in sci-fi specific magazines.
And have a story with above elements to submit somewhere, but they...
Anyone still looking for an original script for this.
Low budget affair, limited locations but multiple layers and twisted ending.
Title: Pupil...Teacher...Patient...Lover... (meant as a whisper).
One For The Road: A stranger enters a bar in search of help for his family who are stranded in a furious snowstorm and learns the weather could be the least of their problems.

Looking for feedback on a 13 page short script. Black comedy.
Will return the read/review/feedback, as just need to know if this short works. In for "potential" funding, so any feedback is welcome.
As we approach the last couple of days to vote.
How many scripts do you have left to get through before the fest ends?
Just curious if everyone is getting through the scripts entered.
I also have some finished short scripts that fit the theme:
Mixture of comedy, thriller, drama and horror: all matching the loss theme.
If anyone is searching for a story drop me a line/pm.
I'm also available to write/help with a script if anyone needs a writer (or just advice).
Loss is an excellent theme and I'm already looking forward to seeing the entries here. Some amazing talent was on display for twilight.
Would it be an idea (or not) to break down the overall score for each piece into an average overall score based on several elements.
i.e. for short films. Rather than a score out of ten - rate the direction, writing, editing, photography etc - score for each builds into final score.

How much would one expect to get for a option on a medium budget feature script (action/thriller with some effects) - over 90 mins.
Might be a silly question (I know) but have no idea of what to request/expect for an average option on a feature (have an idea when comes to short scripts).

might be a bit late for this fest.
But if anyone needs a script or even help with a script. I have some spare time at the moment and would be willing to help.
Would it be insane to consider shooting a short film in low definition?
I have a story and "potential" props/costumes, but no access to high def equipment - just a bog standard hard disk video camera.
Would I be wiser to wait and invest in a HD camera config before shooting this short?
Is it a big "no no" to write a short script that ends, but without a conclusion.
Basically we are left at the other side of a door, as our character enters a room to be interviewed by police.
I've always written shorts that end/conclude.
Just a little unsure as don't want the viewer(s) left...
Since "how to do" multiple quotes came up in a recent post. Here are some sites that have detailed listings of TAGS that can be used to do quite a bit in your posts without using the tool bar options.
