Cinevate Duzi V4
Cinevate Duzi V4
For what it worth, I'm also using a Canon C100 but with a Cinevate Duzi v4, the one with the built-in flywheel. I've used to build myself a slider based on the same concept, but eventually, went and paid the price of the Duzi:
Don't regret it at all. It's not...
Oh yes, pound is the same as lbs in fact! And yes, the Duzi is designed to take up to 100lb of weight. No problem having accessories on top for the duzi, might be more of a problem with the head you'll be using.
As for the pictures, here's the idea, to attach the slider "flat" on the tripod...
Up for sale is a fully working Sekonic L-508 Master Zoom. Signs of cosmetic wear mostly on button AVE/EV. Bought it used myself, but works perfectly and readings are accurate.
Just replaced it with a L-758DR, so it needs to go as I won't use it anymore.
I'm asking 160$USD shipped but open to...
I just decided to give another try to the M-Audio 410 and it's not bad at all! Works with FireWire, so I can't wait to get the ECHO to arrive and try that one (works with a PCI card).
Still, you can get an M-Audio 410 for like 50$ on ebay.
This is the model I picked up for like 125$, allows 8 I/O. I'll be using it mostly for surround monitoring when mixing sound. But still, a good choice.
I'd like to know if the Adrenaline module with the DNXcel extension would work on my computer, using the HOST 1394 port? It doesn't seem to require a PCI card or anything else in order to work, but I'd like to be sure.
My guess is that the preview window and the video acceleration would be...
I'd say, check out these videos:
You should get a couple answer in it, and maybe reading this should help as well to determine what color you should be aiming at.
Usually, colder/blueish is more for depressive tone/feel, as opposite to yellow like in this case:
I wasn't ready to invest the 299$US (knowing that the canadian dollar is like 1,30$US) for a blimp, so I decided to "upgrade" my RØDE pistol rip I had for years now.
A 4" PVC pipe, 2 aluminum pieces, a couple screw and a pair of Rycote LYRE (because they're probably the best I've used) and...
As long as the screen and subject are well lit, you should be good to go.
I've done some green screen shots for a feature film I shot in 2014, called L'EXPERT.
Ended up with great results, but the shot was kind of back lit, so easier to key.
So I tested it yesterday, and so far, the 0dB seems to be the "native" ISO as it's the one that sets automatically, and the aperture adjust in consequence.
From the reading, the 0dB translate into ISO200.
From what you wrote, I tested both the minimum and maximum lighting accordingly:
No CP...
And also, I was wondering: in the video (for photo camera) he takes 3 pictures (-3stops/0stops/+3stops) and he loads them into the Sekonic DTS tool. From there, he is able to get a DR using the Passeport Checker.
If I record in video the same steps, and export a Jpeg/PNG photo for each...
Does it really matter that we don't see the mic on your shirt?
Otherwise, I got pretty decent results recently using the Takstar CM-63 (pretty much an unknown mic) on a table, barely out of frame. Quite directional for a Cardioid pattern, sounds clean and warm (to my ears):
It requires Phantom...
I've just started using a Light Meter, so I'm deep in the learning process. I'm getting comfortable at getting a good exposure based on the reading, for photography so far. I have a Sekonic L-508 that I bought used. Got it tested and it's accurate. I also have a set of White/Grey/Black cards as...
This is probably a very simple question, but I'm not much knowledgeable and I haven't find a direct answer to it yet.
I have a little mixer from SHURE, model FP42:
Not bad, preamp are ok for me and it has 4 inputs, stereo output.
Let's say I have a LIVE event to cover, and I can get a stereo...
The MixPre would be a very good investment, but so far, I don't think I can justify the cost of it.
The Mackie seems great, I'll have a look at it.
That being said, I just pulled the trigger on an old FP42 from Shure for 75$. I'll see if it's any good. Will probably use it for LIVE event audio...
Yeah for sure! What kills it here, is the shipping. And places like Adorama ships via UPS, which is horrible when comes the time to cross the border (with UPS) as they charges customs like no others!
Best carrier so far (in my experience) when dealing with international shipping is FedEx (part a...
I don't post a lot, but I've done a couple videos on products and gear that I would like to share with you.
Some of the products are more entry level, some other are better. All in all, they are nice alternatives, depending on the budget.
Here's the videos!

I had a similar problem when I first got my hands on my XF100.
Menu > Other Functions > Clips > Number Settings. You can reset, add a particular number, etc.
Title Prefix in that same menu could help for your camera letter:
Not directly, but bought from TheCineCity (indian stuff) and the MB-7 Mattebox came with a manual that clearly states movofilms on it:
Not the best Mattebox I've seend, but as I had the chance to compare it to the RedRock one from the job, it's virtually the same, except the swing away...
