I want to update the firmware on my A7s, but I don't have the original USB cable. Ordinary micro USB cables don't work. I believe Sony uses a propriety multi-pin connector. Has anybody successfully updated their firmware using a third party cable? If so, which one? Thanks.

On page 16 of the A7s manual, it shows the Remote Sensor is on the hand grip, next to the WIFI sensor. But on my camera, absolutely nothing is at that location. Did Sony remove the infared remote sensor from the production cameras, or am I missing something?

The OLED screen on my GH3 doesn't open up to a full 180 degrees. In itself, this isn't a big deal. But when I tilt the screen up or down, it results in strange angles that are somewhat inconvenient to work with. Is this normal? Does the flip out screen on your GH3 look like this?
