Anyone else have this issue? I have copied and pasted the file in different locales, on different hard drives and still won't import the file. They're standar MOV files like the rest of the files that aren't disconnected...I'm completely at a loss.
Just got a small Kickstarter budget for my son and I to start filming a short film based on one of his stories. Looking for an external monitor, preferably with mount.
Hello,
You all know me as the brains behind such conceptually intriguing films as "For Your Own Safety - The Croquanna Island Incident", as well as "ATTACK OF THE MANGINA" (still lost in the annals of creativity and clay).
Now I come to you a humbled man, with my my six year old in tow, to...
Logline: When a Tomahawk missile detonates inside its silo onboard a US Navy warship, three men find themselves weighing the odds of survivial, trapped in the strategy room of a ship that may already be sunk to the ocean floor.

Shot on my HV-20, AE botched the render quality a bit (but my PC sucks). This was literally a 30 min shoot with my kids after I got the greatest question a dad could be asked..."Will you make a movie of us shooting guns!?"
I really hope this film isn't based on the Stracynski script I read. It was a phenomenal script, but didn't truly embrace the greatest parts of the book.

With PORT/STARBOARD out of my hands for the time being, and this idea bugging me for over a year, I figured...what the hell!
Port and Starboard - US Navy slang for a series of ever rotating watches of equal lengths of time, split between two personnel. (i.e. Twelve hours on, twelve hours off).
Directed by Tom Shortridge
Produced by Rod Thompson
Cinematography by Chris Curl
Music by Peter Dmitriyev
Screenplay...
While it seems like a cliche "DEPARTED" style story from the trailer, the reviews seems to point in another direction. I'm going to open this thread and label it as a film I have to see.
Anyone catch it at the fests?
