Hey everyone, I just wanted to update the post. After Dennis asked me to verify the Luts I realized that both LUTS I used for the posted screen grabs , the slog_cineon, and the slog_709 luts were created by Macgregor. Just want to give credit where credit is due. You can find both luts here :

And now, a screengrab of the last pic with an added custom lut I built in LutCalc. Thank you for this powerful tool Ben!

            Hi Stokstad,
Classified Not a chance... I've been truly blessed by this group and happy to give something back. Just a quick note - this LUT was created in LutCalc. I strongly recommend you pick it up as it is an incredible tool in building your own custom luts.
This lut takes the input gamma and gamut as standard Slog from the F3, and converts the output to Panasonics Varicam V709 gamma and Sony Gamut color space respectively. There's something really great about how the Varicam gamma helps our F3's with 'red'. In the screegrab above I believe I manually white balanced the F3 using 1/8 plus green and 1/4 ctb gels infront of the glass and then added some 1/2 CTS to a 3x3 glass filter for added warmth.

Anyways, let me know what you think.
            cheers,

              Hi there,
I'm resurrecting that old (but great!) thread as I'm the hunt for F3 LUTs.
              Your images look beautiful!
Would you mind making these LUTs available again?
              Thanks
