FX6: Loons with the 200-600mm and 2.0x teleconverter

Hey, guess what, more birds!! I shot this loon footage over a period of a couple of weeks whenever they would come within range of my FX6 and 200-600mm lens. I never got the really nice golden hour light (or strong backlight) I was hoping for, but that part is out of my control and I have to play the cards I'm dealt. I will continue to keep my eyes open for the rest of the season and maybe with some luck I'll get what I'm really looking for. In the mean time, here are some loons! Most of the footage was shot at 120 fps. Some footage is S-LOG and the rest is S-Cinetone with final grading in Resolve.

Unique-looking birds...do they always tilt back like that when spreading their wings?

You’re going to be burnt out from shooting before your big upcoming trip!

Yes, like the geese in my other video, the loons like to rise up and tilt back when they stretch their wings. It happens so fast in real-time that slow-motion is necessary to really appreciate it.

Don't woryy, I won't be burnt out for my trip -- I'll be warmed up. I'm looking forward to shooting some animals that are not birds or gators. I need the practice though, because I've gotten rusty at tracking focus.
