    My Gear Reviews

I don't post a lot, but I've done a couple videos on products and gear that I would like to share with you.
Some of the products are more entry level, some other are better. All in all, they are nice alternatives, depending on the budget.
    Here's the videos!

    TopFoto Fresnel Lights:

I've been impressed. Except the lower output in the test, it's virtually the same thing as the real ARRIs, but the stands are better in my opinion.

    ProAim Portable Dolly:

I know most people avoid the brand ProAim, but this one is surprisingly good and robust.

    Camtree Hunt Swift Cage:

A nice entry level cage, for someone who starts. The quick release isn't as good and compatible as a Manfrotto 501, but it's robust and useful.

    CINEMATICS Battery Pinch:

    https://vimeo.com/album/3828347/video/163657116
A robust and well-made V-Mount power solution. The HDMI signal splitter is nice for a focus puller monitor as well as your screen or EVF. Not too expensive neither.

    ProAim 12ft Studio Tracks:

A nice and portable set of tracks, when using a lightweight tripod dolly. Very useful when indoor in tight spaces as it comes in section of 48 inches.

    CINEMATICS 4x4 Swing-Away MatteBox:

    https://vimeo.com/album/3828347/video/154276341
Probably my favorite mattebox (I have 4) as it's tough, durable and very well made. I especially like the swing-away design, it's rock solid (check at 3:02).

    FilmCity MB-7 Mattebox:

I like this one, as it's a clone of the RedRock Micro and it accepts up to 4x5.65 filters. The trays are ABS plastic though, but holds the filters relatively well.

    Kovacam K-05 Stabiilizer:

I won the sled in a short film contest, so I decided to buy the vest and arm to go with it. It's quite nice, most certainly not as good as a real Tiffen Steadicam©, but for an entry level model, it performs quite well. I still have to practice with it though!

    Thanks for watching!
I DO IT BECAUSE I CAN. I CAN BECAUSE I WANT TO. I WANT TO BECAUSE YOU SAID I COULDN'T.
