    How did they light this scene (in studio)

    This is a scene that they matched on location lighting to lighting that they did in studio. What kind of lighing set up did they use for this scene?

      Looks like a very soft, even key light on his face - either a softbox or maybe a flo-bank from a pretty straight-on angle? Then a hot backlight coming from above screen right.

      Some more experienced eyes will likely chime in though.

          I really like the lighting throughout these films. They get all the characters eyes to look so bright, and their skin tones are almost painted.

            In some of the behind the scenes stuff, they use alot of kinos in the studio shots. It also looked like they had some huge HMI's with diffuseres from above.
