    Licensing for commercial use?

So it looks like for hobby/personal use they have come to a registration procedure and fee.
Anyone know if such a result has happened for using these things professionally?

You can do both online now. To fly commercial though, you need a 333 Exemption. Plan on waiting a LONG, LONG time for it though.

Thank you. Do you know the correct site to do this?

Yup. Took the test, passed, applied, and got my temp license today. Advice? Study. The test is difficult. Lots of airspace and aviation questions.

My suggestion for those who want the comunity forum experience for Part 107 certification would be to hang out at these specific links:

            RCGroups Advocacy

            RCGroups Multirotor

            Phantom Pilots

Here's post I made on 3DR Pilots with the free resources I used to prepare for and pass my FAA sUAS Remote Pilot test in about two weeks.
