What would be the best capture card to ingest an HD-SDI Signal to my mac?

I have a mac pro tower from 2008 and I am looking sometime this year into allowing it to recieve 1080i/p signals via an HDCAM deck. Given my tower is older, what video card with HD SDI BNC connectors would work? I am running El Cap OSX. Im worried the current versions would not accept my older video drivers, etc.

I’ve got a 2009 Mac pro and use an elgato game capture card to record hdmi data from my dishnetwork feed.
It actually feeds the computer via usb.
Newer models fit in the computer but I know nothing about their compatibility.

You could use an sdi-hdmi adapter to work with your deck.
