DaVinci Resolve on NON INTEL platforms

Hi guys,
I think I’ve seen some technical spec somewhere stating that DaVinci Resolve won’t run on an Opteron based workstation but only on an Intel based one.
Anybody there who can confirm that statement?

I have tried the Lite version on Dual core Opteron 2.6 x 2 and XP 64 but it returns a “platform not found” (or something like that)
