I`v be tasked with creating a set of online tutorials for our video production club with a few conditions attached.
The software I use must be free.
It must be a lot better than "movie maker" with "grown up" features.
I belieive it would be better again if it could handle HD.
We want to encourage new members without them having to spend money in the early stages but have some of the features of the more expensive editors.
I have just been looking at "EditShare’s Lightworks" which looks the part but has any one tried it. Avidemux, Virtualdub and Pinnacls Videospin are other options.
I have never used any of them so I really am open to any suggestions here.
