I use Jahshaka for animation and it is a pretty sturdy editing program also! NOTE: YOU MUST READ THE ONLINE TUTORIALS THOUGH BECAUSE IT CAN BE PRETTY HARD TO FIGURE OUT

If you're getting FCP you need a mac they come bundled with iMovie. It's pretty good, well iMovie 05 worked for me for a long time.

    Free editing software besides MovieMaker?

    Hi everyone,

I'm probably going to get FCP in the not-too-distant future. However, in the meantime, I'm interested in knowing if there's any free video software you can download that offers decent multiple timelines (besides MovieMaker of course!)

I've come across VirtualEdit, which is pretty good. Does anyone know any others? Also, does anyone know of any free editing software that also lets you edit in HD?

    Thanks,

Working...
