    CC problem..

    HI all:

I’ve got a question regarding CC in Avid.

I have just finished a short film and would like to give some scenes a greenish look, for a sick interior in an office.

I also want to tune down the colours, almost blackandwhite. I try this by desaturating , with good results. The problem is that if I pull down the Saturation all the whites go much stronger and some shots look “burned”. Is there any other way to tune down the colors and not lower the saturation (so I don’t get those burned whites...)

    Tanks in advance!!

Go to the master in the RGB settings and bring down the whites. Also in RGB mode, take the green curve and raise it to give a greenish tint to shadows, mids, and highlights as needed.

You can also use HSL for shadows, mids and highlights to give green in a more subtle way.
